This VOLVO PENTA PROP SHAFT SEAL is the molded stuffing box for the prop shaft. It is water-lubricated and an environmentally friendly alternative to older standard packing stuffed grease-lubricated propeller shaft bearing seals. Each Volvo shaft seal is supplied complete with installation tools and a tube of grease.
This seal is a well tested and proven product for sealing and lubricating a shaft. It can be used on any vessel fitted with a propeller shaft of 25mm and is easy to assemble. Apart from an annual injection of the special Volvo Penta grease supplied in the package, this bearing seal requires very little maintenance.
