Complete graving of the Allege 15 boat, of the Canadian Coast Guard, was done by BL Yacht during the 2001 winter. Almost every part of the boat received an "Awlgrip" painting refresh and the other parts got an "Interprotect" treatment. This 42' Trawler was received a new personality. Now covered with a color Jade Awlgrip painting. Because of it's high color retention capacity, dark colors are possible using the Awlgrip painting.

No this sailboat is not made of Fiberglass. It is made of Steel and concrete. The hull's finish was redone using the Awlgrip process after it was entirely cleaned with a sandblast. The hull was then coated with epoxy and painted.
